At least four people were killed, and 19 others were injured after a Russian drone attack ignited massive fires in Dnipro, Ukraine, late Friday. The attack targeted a hotel and restaurant complex, along with residential buildings.

Serhiy Lysak, governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, stated that more than 20 drones were directed at the city, but most were intercepted. However, a high-rise apartment block and nearly ten private homes caught fire. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze.
The strike follows a large-scale drone assault on the Kharkiv region two days earlier, which left 21 injured and caused extensive damage. Ukrainian emergency services shared images of firefighters battling the flames amid rubble.
Ukraine's Air Force reported downing 42 out of 86 Russian drones. Amid ongoing attacks, President Zelenskyy condemned any efforts to ease sanctions on Russia, calling them inappropriate and unhelpful.
